Ninh Binh - Village roads in Hien Khanh shine brightly every night with hundreds of solar light poles, contributing to helping people travel more conveniently and safely.

Village roads lighting up at night

As night falls, the village roads in Hien Khanh commune, Ninh Binh province are no longer immersed in darkness. Each solar light pole connects with each other, the light stretches along the roads, helping people conveniently travel and live.

Moving on Cho Loi - Dai Thang road, the section passing through Mai Hong and Trung Thanh villages, Ms. Thuy Trang said that since the road was installed with a lighting system, people's evening travel is more convenient and secure.

To have such bright roads, officers and soldiers of Hien Khanh Commune Police, together with the Party Committee, local authorities, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and people directly participating in construction.

From August 2 to August 4, forces dug holes, erected poles, and installed lighting systems on the Cho Loi - Dai Thang route. In just 3 days, 28 solar light poles were installed on a road section about 500m long, contributing to bringing light to each village road section when night falls.

Along with the above project, many other roads in Hien Khanh commune have also been lit up by the forces. Among them, the road from National Highway 38B to Giap Ba village and the inter-field road connecting Giap Ba village with Bat Di village have just been completed and put into use by the Military Command of Hien Khanh commune.

The project is 1.3km long, installed with 59 solar power poles, with a total cost of more than 200 million VND.

The funding is mobilized from contributions from businesses, philanthropists and children in Hien Khanh commune who are living, studying, and working in all parts of the country.

Spreading the model "Lighting up rural roads

Previously, the Hien Khanh Commune Veterans Association also actively implemented the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" model with the project "Lighting up rural roads".

The project is implemented on the road from the gate of Hien Khanh Commune People's Committee (old) to the banyan tree area of Tham Hoa village, with a total length of about 1km.

On the entire route, the Commune Veterans Association has organized the installation of 28 light bulbs with a total implementation cost of 58 million VND.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Chairman of Hien Khanh Commune People's Committee, putting the works into use not only contributes to lighting up rural roads, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, work, produce and live, but also improves the efficiency of ensuring security and order, preventing traffic accidents, and building a bright - green - clean - beautiful rural landscape.

More importantly, the project has become a vivid symbol of military-civilian solidarity, the consensus of Party committees, authorities, armed forces, businesses, philanthropists and people in building the homeland. Currently, we are still continuing to deploy many other roads and hope to cover all roads in the area" - Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh shared.
