The incident occurred on the evening of June 7 in Dien Phu commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. When the weather was extremely hot, the ventilation fan system at Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu's chicken farm suddenly went out of use, making the air in the barn suffocating. In a short time, more than 10,000 chickens weighing 3.5 - 4kg simultaneously suffocated. Estimated damage is nearly 1 billion VND.

In a moment of confusion and despair because the whole generation of chickens were about to leave the nest and suddenly lost everything, Mr. Tu's family suddenly received support from the local government and hundreds of people in the area.
On the night of June 7 and early morning of June 8, more than 100 people came to support the cleaning, meat preparation, sorting, and preliminary processing of chickens to promptly transport and sell.

According to the people, people work without time, each one has one hand: the meat -making, the people pick up the hair, the packaging, the carrier. A food company later supported the purchase of most chickens and ensuring food safety and hygiene. The timely relay not only helps the farmer to remove the gauze that partly capital but also spread the spirit of solidarity in the community.
This is the first batch of chickens on the farm in 2025, expected to be released from the barn on the morning of June 8. The unexpected incident shows the risks of large-scale livestock farming, especially in the context of extreme weather.
Many people shared that after this incident, farms need to invest in safer power systems and have backup solutions when technical problems occur.
