On the morning of November 19, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tiep - Head of the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police - said that the authorities had successfully rescued 11 people and a group of 6 vehicles isolated in the middle of Khanh Le Pass for 2 days and 3 nights.

This group of people was stuck at the time of a serious landslide on the evening of November 16, causing a Phuong Trang passenger bus to crash, killing 6 people and injuring many others.
Since the afternoon of November 18, the Traffic Police of Lam Dong Province Police, Lac Duong Commune Police, Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue forces... have overcome many difficulties and dangers, opening a road overnight on Khanh Le Pass to approach and rescue those trapped.

Present at the scene to direct the rescue work, Major Nguyen Nhu Trung - Deputy Captain of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 - said: "After more than 15 hours of effort, we and the rescue force have cleared hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil blocking the road, creating conditions for the convoy of trucks carrying flowers, goods and cars to return to Da Lat".
According to Major Trung, rescue forces have arrived at the scene since noon on November 18 but it is raining, and there are still many more landslides on the pass that need to be cleaned up. At around 5:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities were able to provide food and drinking water to the people who were trapped.

During the approach to the scene, many landslides stretched for tens of meters, with high rocks and soil, posing a potential danger. Some large rocks had to be used by two cranes, inching forward to be moved to make way for the rescue force to pass.
"At first, we received information that 20 people were trapped. But when they reached this area, there were actually 11 people and 6 vehicles (5 trucks, 1 car).
When seeing the rescue team appear, everyone was very happy, recounting many situations during their days in isolation. We prepared rice and water for them, everyone was moved, Major Trung shared.

At around 4am on November 19, the seven-seat car took the lead, followed by five trucks passing through the landslide area. Thus, after 2 days and 3 nights of being isolated in the middle of Khanh Le Pass, all tourists and drivers have been rescued safely.
All 11 people trapped were taken out of the landslide area and returned to Da Lat safely.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at noon on November 18, after receiving news that two trucks carrying Da Lat flowers were stuck on Khanh Le Pass, the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police immediately mobilized excavators and forces to the scene for rescue.
After that, the unit received a total of information that 11 people, 5 trucks and 1 car were stuck on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass, connecting Da Lat - Nha Trang).
Currently, after rescuing 11 people, Lam Dong province's forces continue to support Khanh Hoa province in carrying out the task of clearing the scene with the determination to clear the road as soon as possible.
