(born in 1993, residing in Hamlet 6, old Nam Giang Commune), who was suspected of hugging his two daughters to commit suicide by jumping off Ben Thuy Bridge.
"The family is in a difficult situation. The couple met during their labor export journey, after returning home, they got married and had two daughters aged 5 and 4. Before the incident, they had conflicts and disagreements, Mr. Hoa informed.
Mr. D.'s two children are Vo Ha B. (born 2020) and Vo Gia T. (born 2021). The specific cause is currently being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
Previously, at around 10:00 p.m. on October 13, people discovered a motorbike with an Nghe An license plate parked on Ben Thuy Bridge. Next to the car were two pairs of students, suspected to be children. At the same time, the witness saw a man holding two young children plunging into the Lam River, so he reported it to the local authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, the authorities mobilized vehicles and boats to search all night. However, due to rain and strong river water, the search encountered many difficulties.
As of the afternoon of October 14, the search was still being urgently deployed. Hundreds of people gathered along Ben Thuy Bridge to follow the incident.
