Hai Phong Waterway Police rescue young man suspected of committing suicide by jumping off bridge

    Hai Phong - May Chi Waterway Police Station (Traffic Police Department) has just rescued a man suspected of committing suicide by jumping off Binh Bridge.

    At 8:15 a.m. on September 30, during a patrol, May Chi Waterway Police Station (Traffic Police Department) discovered a man jumping off Binh Bridge with the intention of committing suicide, in Hong Bang Ward.

    Immediately, May Chi Waterway Police Station coordinated with Hong Bang Ward Police to deploy rescue forces and vehicles. The victim was quickly brought ashore and transferred to Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital for emergency care.

    Through initial verification, the victim was identified as Mr. D.N.M (born in 1999, residing in Hong Bang ward, Hai Phong). Currently, Mr. D.N.M's health has stabilized.

    Authorities are continuing to clarify the cause of the incident and provide psychological support to the victims.
