Donating more than 4,400m2 of land for Thang Long Avenue Project

Hanoi - 9 households in Hoa Lac commune have donated 4,430.5m2 of land to serve the construction of the Thang Long Avenue expressway, the section from National Highway 21 to Hanoi - Hoa Binh expressway.

According to Hoa Lac Commune People's Committee, on February 6, 49 land plots with an area of 15,487.5m2 were agreed by people to hand over land to serve the construction of the Thang Long Avenue expressway project, the section from National Highway 21 to Hanoi - Hoa Binh expressway in Hoa Lac commune.

As of 7 pm on the same day, the commune had handed over 470. 135.99m2 of land from 425 plots to the project construction unit. Among them, there were 180 cases of voluntary handover of 106. 443.89m2 of land when it had not been paid; 9 cases of land donation with an area of 4, 430.5m2.

The remaining uncleared area is 135,428.11m2 of 263 plots.

To soon complete the site clearance of the Thang Long Avenue Project on schedule, the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and 2 Vice Chairmen directly went to the area, directed 4 working groups, met with each household subject to land acquisition to propagate, mobilize, dialogue, and clearly explain compensation, support, and resettlement policies. At the same time, drastically directed the clean site clearance work, and promptly handed it over to the project construction unit.

In parallel with site clearance work, Hoa Lac commune is focusing on publicly implementing plans, pricing, confirming land origin and completing dossiers in accordance with the order and regulations of law. At the same time, proactively reviewing and preparing necessary conditions to promptly support and arrange temporary accommodation in the immediate future for households in need, ensuring stable people's lives in the project implementation process.
