On January 6, the construction contractor is accelerating the construction progress of the overpass across National Highway 13. This is a project belonging to construction package No. 3 of the Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City (section passing through Thu Dau Mot city and Thuan An city, formerly Binh Duong province).
The overpass project is about nearly 1km long from the intersection with Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street running along the Mot The Gioi real estate project and crossing National Highway 13.
According to records, this section has completed construction of 318 drilled piles (reaching 100%) and completed construction of 40/40 pier base piles. Notably, so far the construction units have completed the installation of overpass girders across National Highway 13. From here, the overpass bridge across National Highway 13 has taken shape and entered the completion phase.

Currently, construction units are accelerating the concrete filling of the bridge deck and overpass railings, and at the same time pouring soil to build the roadbed and fill the access roads to both ends of the overpass.
The construction contractor said that it is taking advantage of the dry weather to stick to the construction site day and night, maintaining a 3-shift - 4-shift construction regime, and increasing equipment, supplementing manpower, and expanding construction points to accelerate the project to the finish line.

It is known that Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City passing through the Binh Duong area used to be about 26.6 km long, with a total investment of 19,280 billion VND. There are 4 construction packages under construction with a total length of 11.6 km, construction package No. 3 is nearly 9 km long, of which nearly 1 km is an overpass.
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Traffic Works Project Management Board, construction package No. 3 was started in February 2024, the contract construction time is 960 days. It is expected that the overpass section and the road section will be completed in September 2026.

2 more overpasses and 2 underpasses along National Highway 13 will be invested
National Highway 13 is a vital traffic axis connecting the center of Ho Chi Minh City with northern localities of the city, especially connecting the industrial park system. To invest in completing and reducing congestion at intersections, Becamex Group has proposed to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to build 2 4-lane overpasses at the intersection through Binh Hoa and Huu Nghi intersections, and Hoa Lan intersection overpass.
In addition to the above 2 overpasses, Ho Chi Minh City is completing documents to build the Phuoc Kien five-way underpass and Cho Dinh intersection - the section passing through Thu Dau Mot and Phu Loi wards.
