Recorded on December 15, contractors are speeding up the construction progress of construction package No. 3, from Binh Chuan to Saigon River. This is a construction package of the component project 5 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, the section passing through Binh Duong province before.
The current construction package No. 3 passing through Thuan Giao ward, Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot ward and Thuan An ward has compensated and reclaimed 73.11 hectares, enough clean land for the project to construct.
The Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that this package was started on June 29, 2023, and is expected to be completed according to the contract on January 10, 2026.
The construction of the expressway from Binh Chuan intersection to Saigon River is nearly 9 km long, the total value of construction package No. 3 is 1,852 billion VND. The project aims to strive to open to technical traffic by the end of 2025.
The nearly 9 km section, phase 1 of the construction of a 4-lane expressway designed for express vehicles at 100 km/h and parallel roads on both sides are connected to the existing traffic network. Organize traffic at intersections and highway entrance and exit points.
Of which, the expressway section is nearly 8 km long, has been filled with sand, the shape of the road is gradually taking shape. Units are building technical fences and paving the road surface with stone.
The remaining section of nearly 1 km will also be built with an elevated overpass. The columns and abutments of the pillars have now been completed. The construction unit is completing the installation of girders and pouring concrete on the overpass surface.
It is known that Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 passing through Binh Duong area (formerly) is about 26.6 km long, with a total investment of VND 19,280 billion. The project is divided into 2 component projects. In which, component project 5 is construction divided into 4 construction packages of more than 11 km of roads and connecting bridges.
For component project 6, site clearance and resettlement have a total investment of VND 13,528 billion. Currently, the entire site has been handed over for units to speed up construction.
Meanwhile, 15.3 km overlapping with My Phuoc Tan Van road is still studying a complete investment plan.
