On December 10, Mr. Nguyen Van Yem - Vice Chairman of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Ward Compensation and Site Clearance Council had a dialogue with households in cases where land was recovered to implement the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project.
Notably, the leaders of Dong Hoa ward worked with Ms. L.T.T's household (residing in Dong Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh City) with 11,526 m2 of land subject to land acquisition for the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project. The total compensation value for land and assets is over 223.6 billion VND.
Ms. L.T.T has received the full compensation and has handed over 100% of the site to the construction unit. However, Ms. L.T.T proposed to consider a 4-storey house (on the recovered land area) as a house combined with rental space, event organization, not including property deduction. The reason is the property of individuals, not the property of organizations or enterprises.
At the meeting, specialized sectors focused on analyzing and discussing surrounding legal regulations related to compensation and property support for Ms. L.T.T's 4-storey house.
Based on previous regulations and working minutes, the Compensation Council agreed to apply the price for Ms. L.T.T's 4-storey house to calculate the depreciation of assets according to regulations.
Also on December 10, the leaders of Dong Hoa ward worked on considering resettlement for the case of Ms. B.T.M (residing in Dong Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The compensation council agreed to seek the opinion of the Standing Committee of Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee to consider granting resettlement allowances with land use fees for Ms. B.T.M, with a response date of no later than December 31, 2025.
According to records, the site clearance project for the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Binh Duong province has previously been completed. Currently, localities are continuing to resolve petitions of individuals and carry out site compensation for resettlement works.
