The project to renovate and upgrade the Phu Tho town stadium (now in Phu Tho ward, Phu Tho province) has a total investment of more than 44 billion VND, invested by the People's Committee of the old town.
This project will be implemented from the end of 2024 after selecting a contractor, the winning bid price for the construction package is more than 37 billion VND, constructed within 360 days.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-July, the overall stadium has basically taken shape.
It can be seen that items such as: pitch roads around the stadium, stands with 3-storey roofs, 2-storey athlete motels with 1 attic, stands, gates... are all under construction and renovation.
As for the stadium surface, after the construction of cleaning and peeling off the entire old soil layer that was filled, the new soil layer was restored, the drainage system was rebuilt... now the grass has been planted.
After completing the above items, the contractor will deploy the installation of technical infrastructure such as: Power cabinet system, lighting, communication system, internet, cameras, air conditioners, etc.
In a quick exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of Tu Lap Construction Company Limited (contractor) said that the construction work has so far ensured progress, the contractor will try to complete the project earlier than expected (end of 2025).
The renovation of the old urban center stadium of Phu Tho town will ensure conditions for sports training for the people, creating conditions to improve physical quality, serving the strategy of developing local athletes. Along with that, it meets the needs of organizing cultural exchange events, traditional festivals, sports festivals, and mass performances in the area.
