Joint venture of 7 contractors to win the mixed package worth over 232 billion VND
The Lang Son Provincial Sports Complex Project (section of Central Stadium and Multi-purpose Gymnasium) was approved by the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 2218/QD-UBND dated December 10, 2024.
This is a Group B project with a total investment of more than 500 billion VND, the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned as the Investor of this project.
According to Lao Dong, the Lang Son Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board has just issued a decision approving the results of the contractor selection for Package No. 16.
The EC mixed-use package (geological survey, construction drawing design, total estimate, construction and installation of equipment for athlete housing works, sports facilities, technical infrastructure, training ground systems, auxiliary works and traffic safety assurance (including 10% of contingency costs) is worth more than 232 billion VND.
According to the approval decision, the winning bidder for the above mixed package with a price of more than 230.8 billion VND is the 16th Package Joint Venture - Lang Son Province Sports Complex with 7 contractors.
Accordingly, the enterprises are My Son Construction Joint Stock Company, Quang Tuyen Sports Company Limited, Le Quang Trade and Technical Services Joint Stock Company, Nga Phong One Member Co., Ltd., Nghi Tam Construction and Trading Consulting Joint Stock Company, Nhat Nuoc Company Limited, Vietnam Construction Consulting and Inspection Joint Stock Company.
Thus, the 7 above-mentioned contractors will construct the items of Package No. 16, the implementation period of the package is 30 months, the implementation location is in Mai Pha commune, Lang Son city.
According to the project documents, Package No. 16 will construct items including a sports gymnasium and an athlete housing block, a dining room, and a hall.
Along with that is an outdoor sports field with 1 football practice field (artificial grass field), 4 tennis courts with 1,000-seat stands, 1 basketball court and 1 volleyball court, wastewater treatment plant with a designed capacity of 250 m3/day and night and other technical infrastructure systems.

Construction started on June 30, 2025
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Duc - Head of the Project Management Department of the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, site clearance is being carried out to ensure the groundbreaking on June 30, 2025.
As of June 9, 9, 9, 1997-164 affected households have had their land counted, of which 41 households have had their assets measured and counted in the field.
As of early June 2025, the total disbursed capital has only reached about 1.19% compared to this year's capital plan, an worrying figure in the context of the approaching construction time.

Some plots of land have not yet been identified. The progress of building specific land prices is also slow; many households have not coordinated to count according to the plan.
According to Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Duong Xuan Huyen, the Provincial People's Committee has requested the investor to urgently complete legal procedures, coordinate with the People's Committees of Lang Son city and Mai Pha commune to carry out site clearance work to start the project in June 2025.
With the remaining difficulties, the Project Management Board has recommended that the People's Committees of Lang Son province and city direct more drastically. It is necessary to increase human resources for the counting work, speed up the progress of compensation, resettlement support and mobilize coordination from the grassroots government to mobilize people to agree.
