The shape of a rest stop on the 11,000 billion VND expressway in the border area of Lang Son

Lang Son - A rest stop with a scale of 13.5 hectares serving the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway will be built in Dong Kinh ward.

On July 13, according to Lao Dong's source, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a document on agreeing on the location and scale of the rest stop on the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway.

Accordingly, the construction location is expected to be on both sides of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway at Km26+700 - Km27+150. Location of Yen Son village, Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son province.

The land use area is about 13.5 hectares (about 6.75 hectares on each side).

The proposed construction items include: food service houses, commercial and retail houses, resting service houses, maintenance and repair workshops, fuel stations, electric charging stations, water supply stations, pumping stations, parking areas, including super-school and super heavy vehicles...

Regarding this issue, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Luong Trong Quynh also assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, project enterprises and relevant agencies to study and advise the Provincial People's Committee on the investment plan to build the rest stop of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway Project in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring synchronous operation when putting the route into use.

Also according to information from the Ministry of Construction, there are 21 rest stops in the North - South expressway network in the East. Of which, 5 rest stops have been put into operation.

The rest stop has been put into operation on the Hanoi - Bac Giang, Cau Gie - Ninh Binh, Cao Bo - Mai Son and La Son - Hoa Lien expressways. The remaining rest stops are in an investment, under construction and have not been invested.

The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang Expressway is more than 43 km long, starting at National Highway 1 connecting the road to Huu Nghi Border Gate, in Dong Dang town, Cao Loc district (old), Lang Son province. The end point connects the Bac Giang - Chi Lang expressway, in Mai Sao commune, Chi Lang district (old), Lang Son province. The expressway is invested with 4 lanes, a 17 m roadbed in phase 1. In the completed phase, the project will be increased to 6 lanes, 32 m wide.

The project also invests in two sections connecting Tan Thanh border gate and Coc Nam border gate, 17 km long. The two sections connecting the scale of 2 lanes, 14.5 m wide in the first phase, will then be increased to 4 lanes, 22 m wide when completed.

The total investment of the project is 11,024 billion VND, of which the state budget capital is more than 5,490 billion VND, the investor's mobilized capital is 5,520 billion VND.
