According to Lao Dong Newspaper, the landslide site has a very high positive slope, with a landslide longer than 100m; about 20,000m3 of soil has flowed down, burying 3 houses.
According to witnesses, when they heard a loud noise, people shouted and all members of the 3 houses managed to run out safely. However, all of their belongings were buried under the ground.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities put up warning ropes and, together with local people, urgently evacuated 19 households at the foot of the landslide site, which were at high risk, to a safe place.
The landslide is forecast to continue to move, so local authorities are continuing to inspect and review to develop response plans to ensure people's safety.
