The largest hydropower reservoir in the South discharges downstream with a total flow of more than 800m3/s

Dong Nai - Total discharge flow to the downstream of Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of August 24 is more than 800m3/s.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 10:00 AM on August 24, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 770m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to more than 55.1m, the total discharge flow to downstream is more than 800m3/s, and the downstream water level is 3.5 m.

Previously, electricity output on August 22 at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 6.4 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin, passing through Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
