Closing the bottom spillway No. 01 of Tuyen Quang Lake at 3:00 p.m. on July 18, 2025. Closely monitor the development of floods, safety of works, flow to the reservoir, water levels upstream and downstream of the reservoir and promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
On the same day, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also sent a document to the People's Committees of the provinces and cities: Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Hanoi on ensuring safety downstream when operating Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir.
To ensure the safety of works and activities along the river, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment recommends that People's Committees of provinces and cities: Notify authorities at all levels, people, and organizations operating on rivers and along rivers to know information to proactively take measures to ensure safety and adjust activities accordingly.
Timely report any unusual situations to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control).
