On May 16, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee (Da Nang City) organized the "Vocational counseling and job introduction day in Hai Chau Ward in 2026".

The program is organized to create conditions for union members, youth, and students to access career information, orient their future according to their abilities in the context of digital transformation and international integration; and at the same time strengthen the connection between vocational training institutions, businesses and workers in the area.
The festival gathered nearly 20 booths with the participation of 137 units, businesses and vocational education institutions, bringing 9,889 recruitment positions and 173 training occupations for students and workers to learn and access.
Many units participating in the program such as Da Nang City Employment Service Center, Da Nang College, Trade College, Y Viet Da Nang Intermediate School, FPT Polyschool and businesses operating in the fields of services, printing, healthcare, and finance.

Notably, the program is expected to attract more than 2,000 students and workers to participate, including demobilized soldiers, people serving criminal sentences in the community, people reintegrated into the community and people affected by the arrangement of sidewalk order in the ward.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Huu Phung - Vice Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee said that currently, the labor market is lacking skilled labor, the situation of unemployment, "Surplus teachers - Shortage workers", working in the wrong sector is increasing, "supply" is not in line with "demand" has raised the urgent issue of vocational guidance and rational use of labor resources.
Within the framework of the festival, the City Employment Service Center will deploy consulting on contents related to vocational training, career orientation, employment; labor policies and laws; enrollment information; and at the same time answer students' concerns about choosing schools, choosing careers and labor market needs," Mr. Phung said.

In addition to recruitment activities, the program also includes enrollment counseling, loan connection to solve employment, receiving vocational training applications, experiencing vocational skills exchanges and Bartender skills performances by the Italian-Vietnamese Intermediate School in Da Nang.
In addition, students participating in the festival also experience exchange activities, cheerleading and a presentation contest for creative products applying information technology with the theme "Professional Ideas in the Digital Age".
