Lao Cai - Functional forces are urgently investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire at a hotpot restaurant in Van Phu ward.

On the evening of April 10, in an exchange with reporters, leaders of Van Phu Ward People's Committee (Lao Cai province) confirmed information about a fire that had just occurred in the area.

According to initial information, at about 5 pm on the same day, a fire suddenly broke out at a hotpot business restaurant on Nguyen Tat Thanh street. In just a short time, the fire flared up fiercely, causing many surrounding people to panic.

Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities and functional units immediately mobilized forces to be present at the scene to deploy firefighting and search and rescue work.

With the efforts of the soldiers, after about 30 minutes, the fire was completely controlled.

Functional forces promptly prevented and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent business households and houses. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.

Faced with information spreading on social networks that the fire originated from family conflicts (son-in-law burning his father-in-law's shop), the leader of Van Phu Ward People's Committee said that this information has not been verified.

Currently, the police agency is conducting a scene examination and collecting evidence to clarify the specific cause of the incident.
