Complete site clearance for key projects
Cam Khe commune was established on the basis of merging Cam Khe town, Phong Thinh commune and Minh Tan commune of the old Cam Khe district.
As the central area of Cam Khe district, Cam Khe commune has been implementing key projects of Phu Tho province. Including the Inter-regional Road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province (now Lao Cai province).

With a total investment after adjustment of VND2,120 billion, the inter-regional road project is a key project of the province. Of which, Package No. 32 worth more than 96 billion VND - the construction of an important branch line connecting from the main route (Km23+910) to Cam Khe Industrial Park is being implemented.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-October, after nearly 1 year of construction, the inter-regional branch road has gradually taken shape. The road was built straight through the fields of the old Phong Thinh commune; especially the section bordering the Cam Khe industrial park, the road was constructed through a high hill, connecting directly to this large industrial park.

According to the design, the project has a total length of more than 3km, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h. According to the report of the Phu Tho Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction contractor is digging the roadbed; filling the K95 and K98 roadbed; constructing the culverts across the road, Men Bridge and underpass.
According to the report of Cam Khe Commune People's Committee, the project's site clearance work has been completed, 428/428 households have been inventoried, reaching 100%; compensation and support have been approved and paid to 428/428 households; the entire length of the route has been handed over for 3.083/3.083km; resettlement areas have also been completed.

Advantages
Coming to the resettlement area of the inter-regional branch road, the reporter noted that the resettlement area was located in the central area of the old Cap Dan commune, bordering a large plastic road, surrounded by densely populated residential areas.
The technical infrastructure system of the resettlement area has been fully built, meeting the living needs of the people.
Mr. Nguyen Cao Nguyen has received land for the resettlement area of the inter-regional branch road for more than 2 months now, saying: "The resettlement area is in a beautiful and convenient location, with adequate electricity and water, and spacious sidewalks and roads... I feel that life in the new place is better than the old place".

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Cam Khe Commune People's Committee - said that up to now, the site clearance work for the inter-regional road branch has been completed.
During the implementation process, the commune government has stepped up propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue with people to promptly resolve and remove difficulties and obstacles.
Sharing about the advantages and effectiveness of the two-level local government model in the implementation of site clearance for the inter-regional branch road project in particular and other projects in general, Mr. Tuan added:
"Regarding advantages, first, the People's Committee of the commune and related agencies now work directly with households, creating faster consensus. Second, the commune level currently has enough functions to handle tasks such as land allocation, issuance of land use right certificates; quickly meeting people's urgent requirements such as electricity supply, water supply in resettlement areas...
Therefore, site clearance is more effective than before. From there, it can be seen that the two-level local government model is closer to the people, closer to the people, and better serving the people".
