Lao Cai - Many housing projects in the resettlement area of ​​Kho Vang village (Coc Lau commune, Bac Ha district) are being urgently completed.

On December 3, information from the Project Management Board and Construction Investment of Bac Ha district, after more than 2 months of construction, items of the Kho Vang village reconstruction project are being implemented by units to ensure the set plan.

Regarding infrastructure, electricity and water have been supplied to the construction site. Up to now, the roadbed has been completed and the crushed stone foundation, precast components, drainage and embankment are being constructed; more than 100m of road surface concrete has been poured.

For residential housing, each house will have an area of ​​about 60 m2, including 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen and outbuildings. Currently, 12 houses have been roofed, 12 houses have been topped out and the model house in the resettlement area has been completed; 6 houses are being fabricated with trusses, steel purlins, etc.

Accordingly, a new, spacious resettlement area is gradually appearing, with the goal that by the end of December 2024, all 35 households will be able to move into their new homes.
