On the morning of November 28, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that after receiving the acceptance report on the completion of the Da Lat Flower Festival stage, the Supervisory Team checked the conditions for compliance with the new regulations to allow the organization of the event.
Previously, through inspection, the authorities discovered that the main stage scaffolding system of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 had been assembled about 60% of the volume, about 10m high, running dozens of meters along Lam Vien Square.
The construction was carried out without a design document and without approval from the competent authority. Meanwhile, since November 11, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province has issued documents and directly instructed Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company (the unit constructing the stage) to ensure labor safety and construction safety for people and vehicles.
At the same time, guide the construction unit to deploy the stage design documents to serve the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival.
By the end of November 27, Lam Dong Provincial Cultural and Art Center (project investor) had completed all documents and issued a Decision (No. 40/QD-TTVHNT) approving the technical design for the construction of the Da Lat Flower Festival stage.
Therefore, the new project is eligible to carry out the following work, according to the provisions of Article 131 of the Construction Law.
The 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 will open on the evening of December 5, 2024, held for 1 month with many activities focusing on further enhancing the values of flowers, flower growing, and flower tourism products in Da Lat and surrounding areas.
