On March 24, Son La Provincial Police said that on March 23, people in Hang Mon 1 village, Phieng Khoai commune discovered a baby boy showing signs of fatigue, suspected of being lost, so they reported it to the commune police.
Upon receiving the report, Phieng Khoai Commune Police quickly arrived, took the baby to the headquarters for care, ensuring safety and verifying information.
Through verification, the child is Thao V. (born 2015), Lao nationality, residing in Xieng Kho district, Hua Phan province (Laos). He left home to find his mother who was working in Son La but did not know the address, so he got lost.
On the same day, Phieng Khoai Commune Police coordinated with the border guard force to complete procedures and hand over the baby to the family in Laos. At the same time, the unit also supported some essential necessities for Thao V before returning home.
