Yesterday, August 8, the area where the victim went missing had strong sea waves, making rescue work difficult. By the morning of August 9, the weather had become more favorable, so the rescue force continued to deploy rescue work," added a representative of the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

According to initial information, on the afternoon of August 7, Ms. L.D. B (residing in Phu Hoa 2 commune, Dak Lak province) and Mr. Z.L (27 years old, Chinese nationality) were walking in the beach area.

At about 6:45 pm, Mr. Z.L moved close to the sea to wash his hands, suddenly, a large wave rushed in and swept the male tourist away. The victim then went missing in the sea.
