The “Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025” festival is considered an international event, scheduled to take place from January 13-19, 2025.
The event was supposed to be held in a Middle Eastern country, but Arsuprema - the French organizer of "Art for Climate" - chose Ha Long Bay.
Choosing Ha Long Bay is both to honor the values of art and at the same time to raise awareness of heritage conservation, join hands in responding to climate change and protecting the environment.
According to the Organizing Committee, about 80,000 people are expected to attend the event, including policy makers, local managers, artists, environmental activists, investors, students and many members of the community.
Notably, there will be more than 200 European billionaires - who have attended previous “Art for Climate” events; not to mention the expected presence of Asian billionaires. These billionaires have never been to Vietnam.
What is special is that the billionaires are expected to come to Ha Long Bay by super yacht. The organizers have the idea of coordinating with local authorities to arrange for the billionaires' yachts to anchor at the beautiful sandbanks at the foot of the mountains between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.
Previously, on September 16, at the French Embassy, the announcement ceremony of the "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" Festival took place. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the UNESCO Vietnam National Committee Ha Kim Ngoc and ambassadors of many countries, heads of international agencies and organizations in Vietnam, and representatives of businesses attended the ceremony.
The festival "Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025" includes many exciting and unique activities.
These include a music festival with the participation of many world-famous stars and artists; Workshops and educational seminars on climate change response organized by non-governmental organizations and government agencies of major countries; Exhibitions and displays of works of art, introducing domestic and international artists, honored by an attractive art auction with entertaining and famous works of art; Grand culinary events to honor local and international cuisine; High-level conferences on the environment, including guided tours of Ha Long Bay and important discussions on marine conservation...
