After the flood caused a large amount of damage to people's property, especially in Cam Xuyen district, on May 25, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee and the working group of the province inspected the damage caused by floods in Cam Due commune (Cam Xuyen district).

Here, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh encouraged people whose rice was wet and whose property was damaged by flooding. Mr. Linh also directed functional agencies and local authorities to proactively respond, ensure the safety of people's lives, minimize damage to people's property; proactively clear sewers and ditches to drain floodwaters quickly, reduce flooding of rice and crops in unharvested fields.

According to the report of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Committee of Ha Tinh Province, the floods from the afternoon of 24 to dawn 25.5 caused a large damage. The province has 2,076 tons of harvested rice to be wet; 2,250 hectares of rice in the field have not yet been flooded; Other crops have 397 hectares flooded.

Cam Xuyen district was the locality most severely damaged with 1,888 tons of harvested rice wet; 774 hectares of rice in the fields were flooded; 11,895 poultry died, 32 cattle were swept away, 11 tons of fertilizer were wet; 80m of fence collapsed.

Huong Khe district had 300 dead chickens; Ky Anh town had 3 small fishing boats sunk in Ky Loi commune.

Heavy rain caused landslides, washing away about 10m of the embankment of Ha dam in Thach Ngoc commune, Thach Ha district with the amount of soil washed away about 200m3.
