Traffic routes were eroded and cut off, especially DT 257B, DT 258, and the road around Ba Be Lake. To date, the total damage caused by natural disasters is estimated at over 100 billion VND.

Chairman of Ba Be District People's Committee Nong Ngoc Duyen said that in recent days, with the spirit of solidarity and sharing, organizations, armed forces, and local people have joined hands to help affected households overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
The locality is urgently implementing a support plan for families with human losses and lost homes. Households that lost their homes were temporarily arranged housing. Calculating long-term resettlement plans for households in areas at high risk of natural disasters.
Also according to the Chairman of Ba Be District People's Committee, the current difficulty is the entire production and cultivation land of people in the stream from Phieng Kham village to Cho Cho town, dozens of kilometers that have been buried by mud and boundaries. The district proposes the province to soon arrange resources, support the district to overcome damage to transport and agriculture infrastructure and support people to stabilize their lives.
Mr. Trieu Xuan Tai (Head of Phieng Kham village, Yen Duong commune) said that the recent flash flood caused a lot of damage. After flash floods and flash floods occurred in the locality, rescue forces were present to support the people.

The People's Committee of Bac Kan province has also issued Decision No. 845/QD-UBND on declaring a natural emergency situation that occurred in Dong Phuc commune and Yen Duong commune, Ba Be district.
Accordingly, the prolonged heavy rain caused serious damage, directly affecting people's lives and activities. In Dong Phuc and Yen Duong communes, the natural disaster situation has exceeded the response capacity of local authorities.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Ba Be district to urgently organize the implementation of a plan to overcome the consequences. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment supports Ba Be district in organizing the implementation of necessary technical and support measures in accordance with regulations.
On May 21, Ba Be District Party Committee also issued issued issued Official Letter No. 2814-CV/HU requesting units to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
From May 21, units will temporarily suspend the organization of sightseeing, learning, and training activities in all forms to focus resources on urgent tasks.
