After the merger, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction organized a service to pick up and drop off cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from the old Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau to the center of Ho Chi Minh City for work. More than 300 people are using this service every day, contributing to supporting administrative work during the transfer period.
According to Mr. Le Hoan, Deputy Director of the Public Transport Management Center, approved by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, since July 1, the Department of Construction has implemented activities to welcome cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from the old Binh Duong and the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau to the Ho Chi Minh City Center and vice versa.
Currently, the Center is arranging 30-35 vehicles to carry out the pick-up and drop-off. These vehicles are transporting an average of more than 300 cadres, civil servants and public employees per day.
To ensure roadmap and time optimization, the Center has implemented many solutions. Specifically, create community groups, helping users directly register travel time and pick-up and drop-off location. Based on the collected information, the Center has adjusted the route's operating time to best suit the travel needs of staff.
At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to clearly identify the number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers received and transferred from agencies and units of the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the old Binh Duong.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center deployed free bus trips.
Binh Duong - Ho Chi Minh City route: Starting from the old Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center, the destination is Saigon Bus Station.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau - HCMC route: Starting from Coopmart Vung Tau supermarket (Nguyen An Ninh street), passing through the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Administrative Center (old), ending at Saigon Bus Station.
The vehicles used include 4 new 45-seat cars and 6 new 16-seat cars, manufactured in 2025, equipped with free Wi-Fi to facilitate comfortable movement for officers and civil servants. When getting on the vehicle, users only need to present a civil servant or public employee card or confirmation documents to be served.
Mr. Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that not all cadres and civil servants move to the central area of Ho Chi Minh City to work. Ho Chi Minh City still takes advantage of existing facilities in the two old localities to organize activities.
