The investment project to build technical infrastructure for the Southern Industrial Park, Yen Bai Province (old) was approved for adjustment and supplementation according to Decision No. 318/QD-UBND dated July 11, 2025 of the People's Committee of Lao Cai Province.
According to the decision, the total investment of the project was adjusted and supplemented from 250 billion VND to 285 billion VND (the total investment previously approved by the People's Committee of Yen Bai province from June 4, 2024 was 250 billion VND).
In the adjusted and additional value this time (increased by 35 billion VND), construction costs increased by more than 22.7 billion VND, equipment costs decreased by more than 1.7 billion VND, project management costs increased by 358 million VND, construction investment consulting costs increased by more than 3.8 billion VND, other costs increased by 371 million VND, contingency costs increased by more than 9.4 billion VND.
According to the reporter's investigation, Package No. 33: Construction and equipment installation for the Southern Industrial Park Technical Infrastructure Project, Yen Bai Province (Class: Construction of a centralized wastewater treatment system in the Southern Industrial Park)" has just completed the contractor selection.
Specifically, according to Decision No. 234/QD-BQLCKCN dated December 23 of the Lao Cai Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company was the winning bidder for package No. 33 with a price of more than 71.3 billion VND (package price of more than 71.7 billion VND).
The above package is included in the Project's 7th Contractor Selection Plan, the plan approved by the investor from October 28, 2025. In this round of contractor selection, there are 5 other packages (numbers 34, 35, 36, 37, 38): consultation and insurance packages.
Returning to construction package No. 33, now that the contractor selection has been completed, Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company will construct a centralized wastewater treatment system in the Southern industrial park in Van Phu ward, Lao Cai province.
The scale includes: Construction of a wastewater treatment system in the Southern industrial park with a treatment flow of 1,200m3/day and night; construction of a wastewater treatment plant with an area of 4,881.03m2.
The above contractor will also carry out the construction of items: Site clearance; Wastewater collection system; Treatment station traffic infrastructure; Rainwater drainage system; Water supply system; Treatment tank cluster system; Incident lake; Operator system; 160 KVA transformer station; Control and automation equipment system; Other auxiliary items.
The time for Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company to implement the above package is 390 days.
