On September 11, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that in order to sympathize and share the pain, loss, and hardship of the people in the North due to the ongoing storm and flood, Thua Thien Hue province will temporarily postpone all programs, festivals, and events scheduled to be held on this occasion.
Accordingly, the Hue International Lantern Festival 2024, the Street Lantern Procession, the "Linh Phung" Ao Dai Festival and the "Autumn for Children" art program scheduled to be held by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center on September 16-19 will be postponed. The re-organization time will be announced later by the monument management unit.
Previously, according to the plan, the Hue Autumn Festival 2024 will be held with a highlight on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival from September 16 to 19 through a series of unique and attractive activities, contributing to diversifying the experience of tourists when coming to Hue and enriching the cultural and spiritual life of local people. The activities are community-oriented and do not charge entrance fees.
Previously, on September 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien Hue province issued a letter calling for support for people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province said that in response to the launch of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Thua Thien Hue province has transferred 2 billion VND to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union said that the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union will not accept congratulatory flowers from organizations and individuals. Instead, the organization will mobilize union members, youth and delegates to participate in donating to support the people of the North to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.
