On July 16, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy - Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - chaired a meeting and worked with the working delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam led by Mr. Christoph Prommersberger - Deputy Ambassador. Also attending were leaders of a number of related departments and branches of the province.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy expressed his pleasure at meeting Mr. Christoph Prommersberger again; and at the same time, Generally introduced the new potential and advantages of Hung Yen province after the merger of administrative units.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Hung Yen province currently has many favorable conditions for development: expanded space, abundant human resources, especially the advantage of developing the marine economy with land in Thai Binh Economic Zone and great potential for tourism and services.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Hung Yen wishes to cooperate with the Netherlands - a country with a lot of experience in developing high-tech agriculture, green industry and modern infrastructure - in the fields of: high-tech industry, sustainable ecological protection, logistics, seaports, coastal urban development, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Le Huy expressed his hope that the Dutch Embassy will be a bridge to help promote the province's image, potential, and investment opportunities to the Dutch business community and support the promotion of increasingly substantial and effective cooperation.
Responding to the warm welcome from the provincial leaders, Deputy Ambassador Christoph Prommersberger highly appreciated Hung Yen's development potential, especially in the context of the locality expanding its development orientation associated with sustainability and high-tech factors.
The Deputy Ambassador said that the Netherlands is currently a major cargo and trade transit hub of Europe and a strategic partner of Vietnam in many fields, notably seafood imports and exports, smart agriculture, logistics services, seaports, clean industry and industrial park infrastructure development.
At the meeting, Mr. Christoph Prommersberger also introduced the Dutch CTP Company - a large enterprise specializing in developing high-tech industrial park infrastructure, currently seeking opportunities to expand cooperation in Vietnam and expressed his desire to learn about the investment environment in Hung Yen.
Assessing the orientation of Dutch enterprises in accordance with the planning and development strategy of the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy affirmed that Hung Yen province always welcomes and is ready to create the most favorable conditions for administrative procedures, policy mechanisms and support to accompany investors, especially high-tech projects that are environmentally friendly.
