Attending and giving a speech at the Congress, General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Party Committee and the Provincial Police force in the past term.
The Minister especially emphasized that in the new context of implementing a two-level local government model in 34 provinces and cities, Hung Yen Police need to strongly innovate both thinking and action to effectively undertake a core role in protecting political security and social order and safety.
The Minister requested the Provincial Police Party Committee to continue promoting administrative reform, digital transformation in serving the people; strengthening the fight against and prevention of crimes, especially drugs; not being passive and surprised in any situation; focusing on protecting economic security, network security, and internal security.
In addition, it is necessary to promote the exemplary role of cadres, party members, and leaders; focus on building a truly clean and strong Party Committee associated with the emulation movement "For National Security" and studying and following Uncle Ho.
Immediately after the Congress, the Provincial Police Party Committee was requested to urgently develop a specific action program, clear people, clear work, clear progress, ensuring the successful implementation of the Resolution. At the Congress, 26 comrades were announced to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
In the coming term, the Provincial Police Party Committee will determine to continue to take the lead in implementing major policies and guidelines; promote innovation in working thinking in the direction of "The police must take the first step", take prevention as the main focus, the grassroots area as the center; transform from a management - control model to a model of "creating - supporting" service, contributing to promoting creativity, investment, developing the private economy and improving competitiveness for Hung Yen province.
