On July 8, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and the National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen province had a meeting with voters after the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
At the conference, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the completion of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen province consisting of 15 delegates; announced the decision to appoint Mr. Dao Hong Van - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, XV National Assembly Delegate to hold the position of Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. The delegation also reported the results of the 9th Session - a session with a huge workload, with many important contents considered and resolved.
According to the report of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, after 35 days of serious, innovative, responsible and determined work, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly has completed the entire proposed program. The National Assembly has passed 34 laws and 34 resolutions, including 13 resolutions on legal norms; commented on 6 draft laws; and resolved many important contents on organizational structure, constitution, and election.
In addition, the National Assembly has also reviewed and decided on many contents on socio-economics, finance - budget, investment policies for key projects; conducted questioning - answering questions; supervised the settlement of voters' petitions and a number of other important contents.

Voters in Hung Yen province expressed their excitement at the results of the session, highly appreciated the spirit of innovation and efficiency of the National Assembly, and at the same time expected that the two-level government apparatus after the merger will operate in a streamlined, effective manner and serve the people better.
Voter Trinh Xuan Thao (Pho Hien ward) recommended that the Government and the province study the sea encroachment plan to build seaports and economic zones, and soon invest in a 10-lane road connecting Hung Yen city (old) with Thai Binh city (old) to create a breakthrough in regional linkages, promoting rapid and sustainable development.
Voters also proposed amending legal regulations on food hygiene and safety, increasing sanctions to eliminate dirty food and counterfeit goods, contributing to protecting people's health.
Voter Nguyen Thi Kha (Hong Chau ward) reflected the damage caused by storm Yagi and the recent landslides and flash floods. According to her, in addition to natural disasters, there are also human factors such as deforestation, illegal mineral exploitation, and encroachment on water flows.
Voters requested the Government and relevant agencies to clarify the causes, strictly handle violations and increase early warnings about natural disasters so that people can proactively respond.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh highly appreciated the reasonable and practical opinions of voters; at the same time, emphasized that the organization of a two-level government model is an important step to streamline the apparatus, improve management efficiency and better serve the people. To successfully implement, the National Assembly and the Government have amended and perfected many laws and decrees; creating a solid legal basis for the new government to come into operation.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation closely coordinate with provincial agencies, fully synthesize voters' opinions and recommendations to forward to competent central agencies for consideration and resolution according to regulations.
