On January 23, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen and give opinions on a number of important contents.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing the proposed contents of the Department of Agriculture and Environment on allocating land targets to 2030 for 104 communes and wards in the province; proposing land areas to implement pilot projects according to Resolution No. 171/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly.
The allocation of land use targets is implemented on the basis of the Government's regulations in Resolution No. 66.3/2025/NQ-CP, Decree No. 151/2025/ND-CP and the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050.
In addition, the allocation of land targets to commune-level administrative units after arrangement is aimed at ensuring a legal basis for implementing state management of land in the province. Land use targets are allocated on the principle of inheriting and combining targets that were allocated to communes and wards before arrangement.

For administrative units arranging a part of the area, implement separation and adjustment of targets in accordance with regulations. The allocation plan ensures compliance with the Provincial Plan and is adjusted and supplemented after arranging provincial-level and commune-level administrative units, eliminating district-level; and at the same time creates conditions for deploying socio-economic development tasks in the current period.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam emphasized that the allocation of land targets must ensure compliance with legal regulations, close to reality, and meet immediate and long-term development requirements.
Based on the proposed opinions of departments and sectors, the Department of Agriculture and Environment should study and absorb and complete reports and plans related to the allocation of land targets to 2030 for 104 communes and wards in the province to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
