Coordinating to mobilize the construction of 334,234 houses

On the morning of January 14, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) organized the 6th Conference of the Presidium of the 10th term.

Presenting the report on the results of Front work in 2025, the 2026 Coordination and Unified Action Program of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Unions, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front emphasized that in 2025, in the context of organizational structure arrangement, large workload, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations have proactively, drastically, flexibly and closely followed the leadership of the Party, policies and laws of the State, focusing on effectively implementing tasks according to the identified programs and plans and unexpected tasks arising from practical requirements, valuing substance and effectiveness, with outstanding results and highlights.

In which, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels has focused on implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational structure of the Fatherland Front according to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, directives of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat; Decision No. 304-QD/TW, dated June 10, 2025 of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Regulation 301-QD/TW, dated June 9, 2025 of the Secretariat on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial and commune levels.

The system of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels has actively contributed in-depth opinions, focusing on issues of public and people's concern regarding the draft of a number of contents amending and supplementing the Constitution, draft laws, and guiding documents for implementation in very urgent time conditions.

Successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Congress of socio-political organizations at the commune and provincial levels; focus on thorough preparations towards organizing the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Congress of socio-political organizations for the term 2026 - 2031 in the spirit of Directive No. 48-CT/TW, dated June 24, 2025 of the Secretariat.

Along with that, propaganda and dissemination of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front's guidelines and policies were deployed promptly, synchronously, diversely in form and prioritized propaganda through the application of technology and digital transformation.

At the same time, focus on preparing and implementing the contents of the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and deputies of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term according to the authority and responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Supervision and social criticism work is being implemented more and more methodically, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels has coordinated to implement over 2,530 supervision contents and over 15,880 social criticism contents; Emulation movements and campaigns continue to receive the active attention of the entire political system, the response and participation of all classes of people with many very creative models and ways of doing things, with spreading and effectiveness.

In particular, it has coordinated to mobilize the construction of 334,234 houses, worth nearly 24,762 billion VND, contributing to the successful implementation of the Emulation Movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide" in 2025; the highlight is that the whole country has completed the program 5 years and 4 months ahead of schedule compared to the target set out in the Resolution of the 13th Central Committee on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

Allocating 833 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods

Ms. Ha Thi Nga added that in 2025, social relief work, supporting people and localities affected by natural disasters and storms was deployed quickly and promptly, mobilizing the great strength of a large number of people from all walks of life, the entire political system and the support of many agencies, organizations and international friends. In 2025, the Presidium twice issued calls to support people affected by storms and floods. The entire system has mobilized support of over 3,900 billion VND; received through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee 1,380 billion VND; has allocated 10 phases with a budget of over 833 billion VND, the rest will continue to be allocated during the Lunar New Year 2026.

At the same time, people-to-people diplomacy and work of Vietnamese people abroad continue to be implemented more and more substantively and effectively; The implementation of building solidarity, prosperity, and happiness residential areas has initially received the attention and support of sectors and localities and attracted the attention of all classes of people, especially in grassroots areas. The coordination with the Government, National Assembly, ministries, branches, and mass organizations at the Central and local levels is increasingly effective. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels continue to play a good role in presiding over, coordinating and unifying actions with member organizations in implementing contents and tasks; arousing and promoting the spirit of self-initiative and creativity associated with the actual situation, conditions, strengths, culture, customs, and habits of localities and regions...

At the conference, delegates attending discussed and contributed opinions on the content of the Draft Report on the results of Front work in 2025, the Program for coordination and unified action in 2026 of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Draft Political Report submitted to the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031; Draft Plan for organizing the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031; Draft revised Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01/KL-MTTW-DCT of the Presidium on innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for ethnic affairs; Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Conclusion No. 02/KL-MTTW-DCT of the Presidium on innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for religious affairs.
