Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper on September 2, Ms. Ha Thi Hoa - Secretary of the Mai Ha Commune Youth Union - said that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Mai Ha commune coordinated with the Military Command of the commune to organize volunteer activities at the family of Mr. Bui Thanh Nha, a wounded soldier in Tien Phong hamlet.
This activity is towards celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.


Volunteer forces are divided into 2 teams. One team clears the flow, digs drainage ditches around the house. This part of the work helps to limit rainwater stagnation and flowing into the house during the rainy and storm season.
The remaining team improves rice fields, tills land and grows vegetables. Through this, Mr. Nha's family has more production area to serve life.
According to Ms. Hoa, Mr. Nha is a seriously wounded soldier. The couple is old. The children are working far away, so farming and heavy work in the family are facing many difficulties.
This year's National Day, the Commune Youth Union chose Mr. Nha's family to organize a gratitude activity. This is a specific act to express gratitude to those who have contributed to the country," Ms. Hoa shared.
Union members, youth and commune military forces have completed the assigned tasks. The activity not only supports policy families but also creates conditions for union members to better understand their responsibility to the community.
According to the Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, in the days leading up to National Day, Youth Union levels organize many volunteer, cultural, sports and child care activities.
Recently, young people in many localities simultaneously launched the "Green Sunday" campaign. Union members participated in collecting garbage, cleaning village roads, residential areas, schools, agencies and public places. Some forces renovated the landscape at historical and cultural relics.
In Yen Lap commune, on August 29, the Commune Youth Union organized the opening ceremony of the 2026 Men's Football Tournament. The tournament gathered 16 football teams from youth union branches, agencies, units and villages in the area.
Meanwhile, Vinh Hung Commune Youth Union organized a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration program for children. The activity included lion dance performances, creating a joyful atmosphere and contributing to caring for the spiritual life of children.
From supporting wounded soldier families, cleaning village roads to organizing cultural and sports activities, Phu Tho youth are aiming for National Day with specific actions. Through this, the spirit of volunteering and responsibility to the community is spread among union members and youth.
