The 42nd National Television Festival is a place to select and honor the best television works in the past 2 years. According to the Organizing Committee, there are 734 entries from major television stations and local radio and television stations.
This festival awarded prizes to 11 categories, including: Children's Program, Documentary Film, Reporting, Short Reporting, Pedagogical Program, Dialogue - Seminar Program, Ethnic Minority Television Program, Music and Dance Program, Stage, TV Feature Film and Video on Digital platform.
In his opening speech, General Director of Vietnam Television Nguyen Thanh Lam said: The 42nd National Television Festival took place at a very special time for the television industry and the country.
