On October 16, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held a thematic session.
At the meeting, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council will consider the submission of the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to decide on the policy of converting forest use to other purposes to implement the Phuoc Tien Industrial Cluster's investment project in construction and business of technical infrastructure.
The project investor is Truong Hy Toan Cau Company Limited, with the goal of investing in synchronously building a common technical infrastructure system of the industrial cluster; operating, managing and trading technical infrastructure; at the same time investing in the construction of factories, warehouses, offices for lease or transfer to secondary investors.
According to the records, the total project implementation area is 40 hectares, of which 27.2236 hectares are production forest land, including 5.2767 hectares of planted forest and 21.9469 hectares of land without forest.
The area proposed by the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision on the policy of converting forest use purposes is 5.2 hectares.
The area proposed for conversion is located at lots 5, 7, 10, 16, compartment 1; lot 14, compartment 2, sub-area 58b, Bac Ai commune, under the forestry management of Tan Tien Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.
Compared with the forestry planning map for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, approved under Decision No. 895/QD-TTg dated August 24, 2024 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 398/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2025 of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province (before the merger), the above area has been included outside three types of forests, ensuring compliance with the national forestry planning.
Phuoc Tien Industrial Cluster was established by Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (before the merger) in Decision No. 122/QD-UBND dated March 17, 2021, in line with the development plan of Ninh Thuan province's industrial clusters for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1319/QD-TTg dated November 10, 2023.
The project's environmental impact assessment report has been approved in Decision No. 872/QD-UBND dated June 24, 2025 of the Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee.
