Up to now, 15 support houses for people in Nam Tong village affected by natural disasters have been completed, and households have moved in since December 15.
The resettlement area is invested with a synchronous system of connecting traffic, electricity, telecommunications, clean water and has utilities such as community houses and kindergartens, providing a safe, comfortable and civilized living environment for the people.
The Kho Vang resettlement project was built 1.5km from the old Kho Vang village with a scale of 35 houses. After 3 months of construction, all 3 projects were completed, accepted and handed over to the government and people for use.
The newly reconstructed residential areas will fully meet the daily living needs of the people according to new rural standards. In particular, the design and construction of the new residential areas will be based on the cultural characteristics, customs and practices of the ethnic minorities here.

Mr. Ha Duc Thanh - Director of the Project Management Board and Construction Investment of Bac Ha district said that the Kho Vang village reconstruction area was built at the location according to the recommendations of experts after being assessed and surveyed geologically to ensure flood safety and minimize landslides.
To complete the construction on schedule and hand over before December 30, 2024, the construction contractor mobilized the highest force, at times up to nearly 300 people, working in accordance with the Prime Minister's directive "overcome the sun and overcome the rain; only discuss work, no backtracking."
According to Mr. Thanh, during the construction process, the contractor encountered many difficulties due to the construction site being located on the top of a hill, and the handling of soil and rock was complicated. However, with the determination to finish ahead of schedule, the contractor worked hard 24/7, implementing many solutions to save costs and time. Up to this point, the entire reconstruction area of Kho Vang village has been basically completed.
