Bustling reconstruction site
Returning to Lang Nu village after nearly 3 months of natural disaster, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters noted that the lives of the people here are gradually changing. In the new resettlement area, dozens of solid houses are being urgently completed.
At the construction site, hundreds of workers and laborers, along with large-capacity machines, are working continuously to hand over the new residence to the residents on time. Outside the house, internal traffic roads and drainage systems are being constructed at the same time.
At the same time, workers are focusing on building the final items, the community house and school of the resettlement area. For the people of Lang Nu, this is not only a home, but also a hope for a new beginning.
Along with the bustling, bustling working atmosphere at the reconstruction site, people also made fences and planted colorful flower beds in the small garden next to the completed stilt house.
All the best for Nu Village
Ms. Hoang Thi Dau (a resident of Lang Nu) excitedly said: “After months of temporary living, having a new, spacious, clean and beautiful house is no longer far-fetched. We hope to soon be able to quickly stabilize our lives and start farming and raising livestock to revive our family economy.”
Many other people also shared that with solid houses, they will feel secure in doing business and will no longer have to worry every time the rainy and stormy season comes.
It is known that at the Lang Nu resettlement area, 40 houses have been built in the rough, with only small items remaining such as installing doors, pulling electricity and completing the water supply system. The houses are solidly designed, with auxiliary works such as community houses, schools, and a synchronously built traffic system.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Vu Thi Tu - Secretary of the Party Committee of Phuc Khanh Commune - said: "By the end of December, the houses in the resettlement area will be completed to welcome people to live in. With the support of the government, philanthropists and the tireless efforts of the people, Lang Nu is gradually recovering, moving towards a new future full of faith and hope."
According to the Party Secretary of Phuc Khanh Commune, in addition to support for residential land and housing construction, villagers also receive other policies on livestock and agriculture. Through this, it helps households have a stable life, quickly restore production activities and develop the economy.
"All the best things that need to be done and should be done, from the central to local levels, are for Lang Nu. The pain will pass, we hope that people will stabilize their mentality to start over, rebuilding the village to be more beautiful and happier," Ms. Vu Thi Tu expressed.
Mr. Tran Trong Thong, Chairman of Bao Yen District People's Committee said: We will clean up and landscape as the project is completed, ensuring that when the project is handed over, all conditions from environment, construction, landscape for each house as well as the whole area are synchronized.
