On January 27, the Border Guard Command of Son La province coordinated with the People's Committee of Long Sap commune and sponsors to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Hong Hua village bridge.

Hong Hua village, Cang Ty, Buoc Quang currently has 231 households living, with 1,131 people, who are H'Mong and Thai ethnic people.
For many years, the travel of people and students in the area has faced many difficulties, especially during the rainy and flood season when the water in Hong Hua stream rises and flows rapidly.
Faced with that reality, the Border Guard Command of Son La province has coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and sponsoring units to survey and build a bridge across the stream.
The project started in December 2025 and was completed in early 2026. The bridge is designed to be solid, 2.5 m high, 12 m long, 4 m wide, with a load capacity of 25 tons. Total construction cost is nearly 700 million VND.

Mr. Lo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Party Cell cum Head of Hong Hua village, excitedly said that from now on, people in the three villages will no longer worry about rain and floods, and the travel and trade of goods for people and students will be more convenient.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dao Manh Tuong, Deputy Head of the Political Department of Son La Provincial Border Guard, affirmed that this is a project of practical significance, contributing to improving people's lives, creating favorable travel conditions and consolidating the military-civilian solidarity relationship at the border.

On this occasion, sponsors presented 81 gifts to poor and near-poor households in 3 villages Hong Hua, Cang Ty, Buoc Quang, worth 50 million VND.

Hong Hua bridge not only meets the urgent travel needs of border residents but also contributes to embellishing the image of Son La border guards for community life in the borderland of the Fatherland.
