Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Director of Ninh Binh Province Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 (Project Investor) - said that the project to invest in the construction of an inter-regional connecting road between the South of the Red River Delta and the Northwest mountainous region and the North Central Coast region (Phase 1) was assigned by Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to Ninh Binh Province Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 as the investor.
The project has a total length of nearly 32.4km, meeting the standard of a level II delta road, design speed of 100km/h, the section through urban areas has a design speed of 60km/h. The project has 8 bridges, 12 intersections and a system of people's underpasses, traffic safety systems, drainage, lighting, green trees...
The total investment of the project is 6,939 billion VND, from the budget capital of Ninh Binh province. The project passes through 7 communes and wards of Ninh Binh province.
The project is expected to be completed in 2028, after completion it will connect the provinces of the Northwest region, connect the North-South expressway in the East, National Highway 1, National Highway 12B, National Highway 45, National Highway 10 and coastal roads to the provinces of the Northern and Central coastal plains.
Thereby, it will expand the space, create space and strong motivation to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, creating a solid foundation to join the whole country in entering a new era, an era of national rise.
