On the afternoon of December 10, in Phu Quoc City, Sun Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Aspira Tower project, with a total investment of up to 13,000 billion VND.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Permanent Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee - said: The groundbreaking of the Aspiration Tower project is clearly depicting the steps of Kien Giang province, Phu Quoc city and Sun Group Corporation to implement the Government's orientation for Phu Quoc.
"It is expected that when completed, this complex will become a new symbol of Phu Quoc tourism, along with other projects such as Hon Thom cable car (the world's longest 3-wire cable car over the sea), Cau Hon, Hoang Hon town entertainment complex... will help Phu Quoc tourism develop commensurate with its potential, attract millions more international visitors, and have more products to compete regionally and internationally," Mr. Nhan emphasized.
The tower is located at Bai Trao in the west of Hon Thom, with a design inspired by the image of a giant sail stretching out to sea. The height of 220m stands out on a 20,000m2 base, designed by a team of architects from 10 Design - a globally renowned design consultancy. Together with other famous units such as Arup, Aurecon, TwoG and Marriott, it helps shape high-class service standards, ensuring the best experience for customers.
The tower is located on a headland facing the sea, standing out with its special curved glass surface, reflecting natural light, like a shining pearl in the middle of the ocean, with two parts: the base block and the central tower. Of which, the central tower with a height of 36 floors, will become a luxury resort - entertainment - commercial complex. The tower is expected to be completed in the next 2 years.
