On the evening of April 26, information from Tu Lap Co., Ltd., the unit upgrading and renovating Highway 279 (under the traffic connection project of the northern mountainous provinces, the section passing the territory of Van Ban district), at 16h on the same day, at km38+300, a large block of stone with the volume of hundreds of m3 from the mountainside has landed on the road, causing completely division of traffic from Van Luong and Nam Te commune.
Immediately after the landslide occurred, the National Highway 279 construction unit mobilized 2 large excavators and 5 cars to break rocks and clear the landslide area.
It is expected that by 9:30 p.m. tonight, the road will be opened to serve people's travel.
