In the afternoon of March 16, the Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (CSGT) coordinated with the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board (under the Lam Dong Department of Construction) and 886 Thanh Nam Company to mobilize forces and vehicles to handle large stone blocks lying precariously on the top of Bao Loc Pass.

Accordingly, from about 3 pm on the same day, to ensure safety, Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police) arranged officers and soldiers to set up checkpoints and regulate traffic at both ends of Bao Loc Pass, ensuring absolute safety during the process of handling the stone block.
At the same time, the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board and 886 Thanh Nam Company mobilized manpower, vehicles, and machinery to handle the dangerous stone block.

According to records at the scene, more than 10 workers opened a road to approach the stone block, then used specialized equipment to pry the stone block from the top of the pass down. At the same time, functional forces also handled and cleaned up the area where the stone block appeared to prevent the risk of landslides.
It is estimated that this stone block weighs about 15 tons. After being brought down to the foot of the pass, functional agencies used a large crane to move the entire stone block out of the Bao Loc pass area.

After more than 1 hour of deployment, the dangerous stone block was handled, ensuring safety. At about 4 pm on the same day, the scene on Bao Loc Pass was cleared, and traffic returned to normal.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on March 14, after receiving people's reflections on the appearance of a large rock lying precariously on the top of Bao Loc Pass, functional forces of Lam Dong province and the road management unit conducted a scene inspection.
After receiving the information, Madaguoi Traffic Police Station notified the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board to inspect and develop a handling plan to ensure traffic safety.
Bao Loc Pass is located on National Highway 20, about 10km long with many winding curves. This is an important traffic route connecting Lam Dong with the Southeast provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, with a very large traffic volume.
Therefore, early handling of dangerous stone blocks is necessary to ensure safety for people and vehicles passing through this area.
