Warm-up
After many years on paper, the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project in Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city has been officially launched. With a scale of 400 hectares, stretching across Trung Nghia, Hoa Trung, Mot villages...
With a total investment of up to VND6,200 billion, Hoa Ninh Industrial Park is expected to be a strong boost for the city's economy, while realizing the dream of a green, high-tech, and sustainable industrial model. The groundbreaking ceremony on February 18 has fueled new hope because this is a "suspended" project that has existed for a long time.
Hoa Ninh Industrial Park is designed with a strategic vision, aiming to attract investment in specialized industries, applying advanced and environmentally friendly technology. Taking advantage of the connection with the Lien Chieu Port Liquid Port warehouse project to supply LNG and other liquid materials directly to each plant is considered a bright spot, contributing to reducing pollution, towards sustainable development.
The investor, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, is committed to carefully selecting investment enterprises, prioritizing green, high-tech industrial projects that meet international standards on environmental protection.
Mr. Pham Duc Thinh - a resident of Hoa Trung commune - shared: "We have heard about this project for a long time, but so far we have not seen real implementation. This time, we hope that the project will be implemented seriously, bringing practical benefits to the people, not just stopping at documents".

Ensuring the rights of the people
The Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project is expected to affect 395 households with about 1,400 people subject to clearance. This is a big challenge for local authorities in ensuring the resettlement process takes place in a fair and transparent manner, and brings a more stable and better life to the people.
Properly resolving this issue is not only the responsibility of the government but also an important factor to build trust and support from the community for the project.
Mr. Nguyen Kham - a resident of Hoa Trung village, Hoa Ninh commune - worried: "The "suspended" project has significantly affected our lives over the years. Buying and selling, building houses are all facing difficulties. We hope that the government will truly pay attention and completely resolve existing problems, ensuring legitimate rights for affected people".
Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh (Hoa Trung village, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district) said that in previous years, the City People's Committee issued a plan to clear compensation for projects in Da Nang city, but the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park Project was not included in the compensation clearance plan. Thus, the project continues to be unimplemented, affecting the lives and rights of the people.
Meanwhile, according to Mr. Ly Khang - Head of Trung Nghia village, Trung Nghia village - there are more than 100 households stuck in planning, so they cannot repair or rebuild their houses, causing many difficulties in life.
Households around here also have to live with 3 or 4 generations in the same family or rent a room outside to live, Mr. Ly Khang shared.
Mr. Tran Van Ty - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks - said: "During the investment preparation process, we have prepared land to arrange for resettlement households. After the Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee issued a decision approving the investor policy, the locality also immediately implemented site clearance work right in Hoa Ninh commune to promptly submit land to the investor to keep up with the schedule".
