Initial information, at around 6:00 a.m. this morning (July 29), a fire suddenly broke out in a factory near the intersection of Tran Quang Dieu Street, Tan Dong Hiep Ward.
Discovering the fire, people shouted to each other to put out the fire but failed. The fire quickly spread to the factory area. After that, people reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire fighting vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to put out the fire.
At the scene, the fire broke out, black smoke engulfed the factory area where the fire broke out.
The authorities divided into many directions to bring water to put out the fire. By 7:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control.
Talking to reporters, the leader of Tan Dong Hiep Ward People's Committee said that the fire occurred at a rice container factory. Immediately after receiving the fire report, the authorities deployed forces to control the fire.
The fire did not cause any human casualties. The fire has now been controlled and is being completely extinguished.
