According to the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone (EZ), in 2024, Binh Dinh province will allocate a capital plan to the Provincial EZ Management Board of more than 150.5 billion VND (of which nearly 122 billion VND is from land use fee revenue and more than 28.5 billion VND is concentrated investment capital), to carry out construction items in the field of transport, to complete the transport infrastructure in the EZ; implement residential and resettlement projects: Nhon Phuoc, Vinh Hoi, Cat Tien.
Right from the beginning of the year, the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone has proactively developed detailed plans for each project, urging contractors to speed up progress. Proactively resolved problems arising during the implementation of bidding packages, helping contractors feel secure in implementing items and projects; requiring progress, quality, and aesthetics of the project as a measure of the contractor's capacity.
At the same time, strengthen inspection and control of volume, cost and determine completed volume to make final payment, ensure the disbursement rate of public investment capital, and motivate contractors to perform well on projects.
In particular, the Nhon Ly bypass project is scheduled to be implemented from 2023 to 2026, but is now nearly completed; the 2.6km long road connecting from National Highway 19B to Nhon Ly commune has been paved; drainage systems, electricity systems, trees, and lighting have been built.
The completed route put into use contributes to completing the infrastructure for Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and Nhon Ly commune, facilitating trade, meeting the requirements and creating a premise for economic and tourism development in the locality as well as attracting investment in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
By the end of October 2024, the Binh Dinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board had disbursed 109,197/111.9 billion VND, reaching 97.64% of the total capital allocated by the province.
The leader of the Binh Dinh Economic Zone Management Board said that the unit is urging the contractor to complete some small items on the Nhon Ly bypass road for acceptance and use this year, ensuring full disbursement of capital for land use fees.
There are still nearly 2 billion VND of concentrated investment capital that has not been disbursed, mainly capital for investment preparation of 2 projects: The road connecting the dedicated road in the West of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with the coastal road section Cat Tien - Diem Van; the road connecting from T24 intersection of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone's main road to the sea. Currently, the Board is completing the procedures of these 2 projects to deploy investment and disburse the remaining funds this year.
