Ha Tinh - The Department of Science and Technology has just launched a telecommunications infrastructure inspection to ensure smooth communication when the rainy and storm season is approaching.

On the morning of August 9, information from the Ha Tinh Department of Science and Technology said that the unit had just deployed an inspection of telecommunications infrastructure and the operation of BTS stations, in order to request telecommunications businesses to proactively prepare contingency conditions and plans to ensure communication when natural disasters occur.

The inspection team was headed by Mr. Duong Kim Nga - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, with the participation of representatives of leaders, professional staff of localities and telecommunications enterprises in the area.

The delegation focused on inspecting key areas, frequently affected by natural disasters, floods, landslides and key dam and reservoir areas.

The inspection content focused on reviewing generators, fuel sources of gasoline and oil, backup battery systems; reinforcement and solidification of BTS stations; inspection of equipment and radio stations. At the same time, the delegation inspected the progress of overcoming fiber optic cable transmission lines and network infrastructure damaged after natural disasters in 2025.

Through inspection, leaders of the Department of Science and Technology requested businesses to improve proactiveness, ensure full reserve equipment, and regularly maintain works to be ready to respond to natural disaster situations.

Units are also required to strengthen connections, be ready to support rescue and share technical infrastructure, thereby ensuring smooth communication in all situations.
