Voters in Nam Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong province have commented: From 2022 to now, National Highway 14 section Doc Da - Ho Dai La has often had accidents, especially at night when vehicles often crash into barriers across the road and trees, endangering the lives of traffic participants.
Voters recommend that competent authorities repair the road to ensure safety.
Regarding the content of the voters' petition, the Ministry of Construction responded as follows:
National Highway 14 - Doc Da - Ho Dai La section is under the National Highway 14 Upgrade and Expansion Project from Km817 - Km887 invested under the form of a BOT contract, invested by Duc Long BOT & BT Company, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee (now the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee) is a competent State agency.
The route is being managed, exploited and maintained by investors. Therefore, the Ministry of Construction requested the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to consider and direct the functional units to work with Duc Long BOT Investor to inspect, find solutions to overcome and handle in a timely manner to ensure traffic safety on the route.
Currently, the Ministry of Construction has directed the Vietnam Road Administration - the state management agency of roads, with Document No. 4137/CDBVN-TCGT dated August 21, 2025 sent to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province and Road Management Area III to inspect and urge the implementation of contents related to management, maintenance, exploitation, and traffic safety of the project and the above-mentioned route.
