According to the report of the Department of Finance on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year; the direction and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 of Ninh Binh province, the province's economy continues to maintain a good growth rate, the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province in the first 6 months of 2025 (according to comparison 2010) is estimated at 88,966 billion VND, an increase of 10.82% over the same period last year, ranking 4th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide.
Industrial production continues to develop, the industrial production index (IIP) in the first 6 months of the year increased by 22.4% over the same period in 2024; agricultural production continues to develop stably and in the right direction. The work of building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas has received attention; up to now, all three provinces (Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and the old Ninh Binh) have been recognized by the Prime Minister as having completed the task of building new rural areas.
Trade and service activities in the province continue to maintain stable growth momentum; total retail sales of goods in the whole province reached VND 134.63 trillion, up 21.6% over the same period, with all groups of goods increasing. Import and export activities in the first months of the year achieved positive results. It is estimated that in the first 6 months of the year, the export turnover of goods reached over 10,596 million USD, up over 40%; the import and export turnover of goods reached over 9,931 million USD, up 61% over the same period.
Ninh Binh tourism continues to affirm its position as a major tourism center of the region. The number of visitors to tourist attractions in the first 6 months of the year reached 14 million, revenue from tourism activities in the first 6 months is estimated at 12,711 billion VND, an increase of 39.87% over the same period in 2024.
According to Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, right from the early stages of operation, the system of the two-level local government apparatus has been put into continuous operation, smoothly meeting the requirements of regular leadership and direction of the province to maintain and serve the requirements of people and businesses.

Continue to review and ensure facilities, equipment, and working conditions for cadres and civil servants based on current conditions, ensuring means of transportation for cadres and leaders of departments, branches and localities in accordance with practical requirements.
