Mr. Pham Xuan Thu - Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Ward People's Committee said that Nam Dinh Ward is one of the 10 largest wards in the country today, from 8 merged units. The ward has an area of nearly 20km2, population of about 188,000 people.


The Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Ward People's Committee emphasized that the ward operates according to the criteria of being close to the people and serving the people in a timely manner, so all plans and tasks are implemented early. "Previously, personnel in the ward participated in training on trial operations of local governments at 2 levels. Therefore, the first day of operation of the apparatus was very smooth, ensuring all work. In addition, the ward has arranged 4 other locations to serve people outside the main locations in the ward. On the first day, the ward's public administrative center received more than 150 records," said Mr. Thu.
Coming to do land registration procedures, Mr. Tran Van Duy (in Nam Dinh ward) said that after going to the application counter about 10 minutes later, his application was received for processing. He was very satisfied with the way the staff's instructions and procedures were quickly accepted.
In Vu Ban commune (Ninh Binh province), the commune has arranged enough support forces so that people do not have to wait long. The goal is to ensure that the merger does not affect the rights and administrative transaction needs of the people.
